Increased prevalence mellitus, sedentary lifestyle, Family history DM predisposes women, particularly Indian women develop GDM. Existence multiple criteria like IADPSG (International association study groups), WHO (World health organisation), ADA (The American criteria, DIPSI (Diabetes in groups criteria) creates serious confusion screening Therefore, there a need find effective single criteria.
